and, with their wide array of musical tastes and talents, each of the performers brings something different to the sessions.
Projects are tailored to each school and can be one off workshops or a series of workshops resulting in a larger scale performance. Voces8 encourages participants to relax, take part, and enjoy themselves. Through innovative activities the group build a relaxed and fun environment which encourages working together, listening to each other, and learning new skills. The final product of these workshops can be anything from a single concert to a community opera utilising sets and costumes designed by the students. Current themes include the use of puppets with music and the combining of western music with strong Indian influences. Voces8 is equipped with a professional mobile recording studio, offering participants the opportunity to practice and learn new skills, as well as the chance to hear and see their creation. Voces8 is delighted to have recently established a residency with Our Lady's Convent School in Loughborough. The group will be offering workshop opportunities for all students, joint concert performances, mementos recordings of student concerts and the chance for budding composers to have their world premiere works performed by Voces8.
